Bass Pups n stuff

Hey Matt,

I really like the grungy tone you get out of the basses you use; It is gritty enough for metal, yet can be pleasant enough for the other prog stuff you do. I also noticed that in the Highway to Voltage gig youre bass had jazz pickups of some sort. So I was just curious as to the make you used, because it would help me to get the most out of my own jazz. I currently am using Bartolini's and with boosted mids with a bit of drive through a line 6 which sorta gets that tone but Im not sure if there's anything I can do with my current setup to get more grit out of it.
