Post  Andy T on Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:47 am

Hello all,
Just a quick plug for a wonderful little festival in the wilds of Mid Wales,Builth Wells to be exact. It's a 3 day event with many a band as you can see from the poster,stalls,food,beer....real beer, great company, free camping, hot showers and the bands play under cover. What more could you want. This year sees Curved Air,The Groundhogs,Stackridge,Gunslinger,Pre Med as well as a host of other great bands....all for £55. Why not spend a fab weekend with us,I might even buy you a beer...............

I only said might!!!

Great stuff,Steve, lets hope you can. Maybe trains from Leeds to manchester, then manchester to Shrewsbury, then you can get a small train direct to Builth Road station and the gig is 10 minutes walk from there. That's just off the top of my head, not looked into it proper yet.

Bargain!!!! I was surprised at how cheap some rail travel is,it cost me about the same last year to go to High Voltage on the train.

Be good to see you at Builth then.

I used Megabus too travel down for High Voltage,am doing the same for the gig at the Borderline-only £7 return from Leeds to Victoria coach station.Giving High Voltage a miss this year, not enough bands i want too see.
all being well will see you at Builth Wells.

BTT.

Just a reminder there is only a month, less even,to go before this fine little festival kicks off for another year. Tickets still available and will be available on the gate as well(just in case you fancy a road trip over for the day).

Be good to see you there. Very Happy
