LastFM is a website that takes info from your music played by the use of a plug-in to your iTunes/Winamp etc. It then generates neighbours based on your music taste and you take it from there. You can add friends etc. You can then play your friends playlists.

You can either stay free or pay a subscription and get a few more things like free downloads of certain songs. I used to be a subscriber but found it not much use to be honest. I've been a member for about 5 years and it has introduced me to loads of new music. Well worth a look.
